ICAR-Indian Institute of Water Management (ICAR-IIWM) participated in the exhibition arranged as an event of the conference on Farmers First on Conserving Soil and Water Resources in Eastern India organized by IISWC, Dehradun and IASWC, Dehradun at Sunabeda, Koraput on 6-8 February 2019. The institute put a stall showcasing its technologies with a focus on application of water management technologies for transformation of agriculture in tribal areas of Odisha and waste water filter system. Activities of ICAR-IIWM related training of officials of different states under PMKSY were also displayed. About 400 farmers from five Eastern India states-Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and West Bengal and 100 participating researchers visited the stall.
