The cocopeat + perlite combination produced the best results, yielding higher peel weight (121 g vs. 41 g), pulp weight (283 g vs. 111 g), and total soluble solids (TSS) (17.4°Brix vs. 16.85°Brix), indicating the development of larger and more nutrient-rich fruits. Cocopeat and its variants, particularly when combined with perlite, improved aeration while significantly reducing water usage (168 L vs. 624 L in soil). The Pruning intensity also influenced plant productivity: severe pruning (80% removal) increased fruitful cladodes (39.5% vs. 20.31%), moderate pruning (60% removal) enhanced fruit set (87.42% vs. 68.20%), and light pruning stimulated new sprout growth (23.3 vs. 8.1).
